What is polyuerethane round belting?

Polyurethane round belts (or PU round belts) are transmission belts that are made of high-grade polyurethane material with excellent attributes such as wear resistance, aging resistance, acid/alkaline resistance, etc. Polyurethane round belts are commonly used in a variety of industrial transmission applications. Polyurethane round belts are usually available in two forms: Green rough-surface and orange smooth-surface belts. Core Reinforced Polyurethane Round Belts

For additional tensile (pulling) strength, polyurethane round belts can have cores (steel wires or polyester fibers) that reinforce them for heavy load transmission applications. However, PU round belts with cores cannot restore the continuity of the core through splicing - therefore, tensile strength is lowered at splicing with regard to the core.
