Continuous Spray-applied Silicone Belts
Initially, the pressing tape used in spray plating consisted of a stainless steel base strip coated with black soft rubber. Later, it was replaced with a titanium base strip also coated with black soft rubber. However, since the black soft rubber is primarily made of special foam, it is prone to wear during use. As wear intensifies, its sealing performance significantly decreases, leading to the loss of valuable chemical solutions during the electroplating process.
To address this issue, YONGHANG company has developed a spray plating pressing tape that combines corrosion-resistant stainless steel with silicone rubber. The silicone rubber can achieve a Shore hardness of 15 degrees, offering sealing performance that surpasses that of black soft rubber. Additionally, its wear resistance is significantly higher than that of black soft rubber, resulting in a much longer service life compared to traditional pressing tapes.
