What is a coated timing belt?

Coated timing belt is an upgraded product that adds an extra layer of functional coating on the back (smooth side) of the belt on the basis of ordinary rubber timing belt. It consists of two parts:

Bottom Belt: Ordinary rubber timing belt, composed of rubber matrix + high strength wire core, responsible for power transmission.

Coating: According to the demand of working conditions, rubber, silicone, PVC and other materials are added to the back of the belt, or even multi-layer composite, in order to enhance the performance of wear resistance, anti-skid and corrosion resistance.
